Golf Magazine Top 100 Course Plaque

Just released, Golf Magazines Top 100 Courses in the U.S. 2011 plaque.  This is the 15th edition of this plaque, with the last on released in 2009.  With the 2011 plaque there are five newcomers and number one has maintained it's number one position.  The five newcomers are: Old Macdonald, Gozzer Ranch, The Alotian Golf Club, Caves Valley and California Golf Club of San Francisco.

Pinehurst No. 2 moved into the U.S. top 10 thanks to a bold restoration that dramatically altered its look and playability. And Los Angeles Country Club's North course climbed 13 spots on our World list following a brilliant retro reworking of greens, bunkers, width and strategy.
